📘 EMDR Sound Relax – User Guide

Purpose: Relaxation, EMDR therapy support, stress relief, and mental focus using audio-visual experiences.

1. Getting Started 📥

Install the App

• Download from Google Play, App Store, or macOS distribution platform.

Launch the App

• The app opens in landscape mode.

• A disclaimer dialog will appear on first launch.

The app will guide you through essential instructions:

• Put on headphones for best results.

• Recall a past event you want to process.

• Focus on the moving ball for EMDR visual tracking.

• Select frequency settings for audio balance.

• Click OK to continue.
   

2. Main Interface Overview 🖥️

Top Bar:

• Displays the current module title.

• Includes Get Pro Widget for premium upgrades.

Central Area:

• Shows the currently selected module:

  • EMDR Visuals (moving ball)

  • Nature Sounds (rainy, snowy, sunny, fire visuals)

  • Frequency Controls

  • Audio Frequency Widget

  • Music Player

Floating Action Buttons (Right Top):

• Scene/Mode Button: Switch EMDR visual scenes (0–4)

• Nature Sound Button: Play ambient sounds (water, forest, rain)

• Multi-track Audio Button: Access multiple audio tracks

• Timer/Frequency Button: Play frequency-based sounds

• Music Player Button: Play relaxing songs

• Play/Pause Button: Start or stop audio and animations

• Settings Button: Open settings dialog

• External Link Button: Open website or external resources
   

3. Navigating Modules 🔄

Switching Modules:

• Tap the corresponding floating button to change modules.

• Each module may display different visuals and sounds.

EMDR Scene Control:

• Tap the scene button to cycle EMDR visual scenes.

• Scenes loop: 0 → 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 0

Animations:

• Visual ball movements sync with audio balance.

• Animations can be paused or resumed with the play/pause button.
   

4. Audio Control 🎵

Play/Pause:

• Tap the play/pause button to control both audio and animations.

Balance Control:

• The app automatically adjusts left-right audio balance based on EMDR ball movement.

Nature Sounds:

• Water, rain, forest, and fire ambiance available.

• Adjust volume and select desired sound type.

Music Player:

• Access a library of relaxing music tracks.

• Random selection occurs on first launch.

Frequency Therapy:

• Adjust audio frequency for specific effects:

  • 417Hz, 432Hz, 528Hz, and more (Solfeggio frequencies).
     

5. Settings and Preferences ⚙️

Settings Dialog:

• Open via the settings icon.

• Options include audio preferences, frequency selection, animation speed, and resetting consent for ads.

Consent Management:

• Users may be asked to provide ad consent.

• Consent can be reset from settings.

Device Permissions:

• Storage permission is required on Android for audio caching.

6. Ads and Pro Version 💰

Banner & Interstitial Ads:

• Ads are displayed on free version for certain modules.

• Pro version removes all ads.

Rewarded Ads:

• Occasionally used to unlock premium content or features.

Pro Version:

• Unlock extra features:

  • EMDR ball size adjustment

  • Spin speed

  • Ad-free experience

• Purchase via Get Pro Widget or ad dialog.
   

7. Tips for Best Experience 💡

• Use headphones for EMDR and audio therapy.

• Keep the device in landscape mode.

• Focus on the moving ball for EMDR effectiveness.

• Adjust sound balance and frequency to your preference.

• Combine nature sounds with music for deeper relaxation.
   

8. Troubleshooting 🛠️

• No audio: Ensure headphones are connected and storage permission granted.

• Animation stuck: Press play/pause to reset.

• Ads not showing: Check internet connection and confirm Pro version status.

• Consent dialogs missing: Reset consent in settings.
